23/09/2015 - Abervalley are happy to welcome Ronnie Junior Jones to the club. Having played alongside David Hale at Beddau the past few seasons. Junior who could no longer commit to Beddau due to their mid week sessions, has now decided to bring his experience and defensive skills to the Hurricanes.
2/09/2015 - Abervalley are officially entered into the South Wales Basketball Senior league. They have been placed in Division 2 and face a tough season ahead being the youngest team in Senior D2. The majority of the team are still young and will have to adapt to playing at senior level. Although this could result in a few heavy defeats they are certain they can learn from it and hopefully cause some upsets with some of the more established teams. Their season officially kicks off on Sunday September 13th when the host Swansea Storm 3s in the 1st Round of the D2 Cup!! Come on down and show your support. 6:30pm Tip Off!!
