They are usually a key player in the game of basketball, they are usually the tallest player on the court with a average height of 6"10ft-7"ft. The centre usually scores from the paint but some can be good perimeter shooters, they are typically skilled at grabbing rebounds, contesting shots and setting screens on plays.
